2008-2009 Trail Board Prioritized Projects:
The following are one-time requests:
1. Brand/logo development
City Request: $3750.00
2. Create structures at three access points to restrict horseback riders on Mentock trail:
City Request: Materials: $100.00
Trail Board Contribution: 6 hours/2 people Volunteer time
3. Revise the City Archery Ordinance:
City Request: Staff time
4. Re-design trail map/brochure (the current brochure is 10 years old) : City Request: $900.00
5. Determine uses at the Old Power Plant
(see handout)
6. Construct trails at the 2 access points across from Straight’s house (Cold Springs).
Trail Board Contribution: 2 days/2 people Volunteer time
7. Erosion control on Mentock trail: Will depend on Uses Allowed.
Trail Board Contribution: 100 hours Volunteer time
8. Print a new map/brochure.
JCTA grant (value $2,500.00)
9. Consider Permanent hoof-prints on Main Street.
Waiting for Downtown Development Plan recommendation
10. Designate uses for Mentock and sign accordingly.
Waiting for a recommendation from Glenn Hare, retired USFS Trail Coordinator
11. Install a bench at Old Power Plant near Aspen grove.
